We held our first ever Kid’s Fishing Derby on Free Fishing Weekend, helping teach a new generation to fish! We had winners in three age categories for biggest fish, for most fish caught. All of the participants came away with a trophy or door prize! A big thank you to Kathy Thebo and team for putting this together for our community. There were lots of smiles and fun fish tales!
We had local businesses donate bait, hats, fishing tackle, and fishing poles.
